The Polk HTS 10 Subwoofer features Polk Power Port technology and a front-firing 10" Polypropylene Dynamic Balance driver, ensuring all of your Music, Movies and TV shows are accompanied by a truly astounding soundtrack.

The new HTS 10 Subwoofer from Polk will ensure an enhanced home theatre or music experience thanks to the combined power of a front-firing long-throw Polypropylene Dynamic Balance and Klippel optimised 10” driver, Polk’s Power Port technology (floor-firing for better bass response and reduced port noise), and a 200 Watt Class D amplifier. To optimise the bass levels this subwoofer can deliver, control has been made easy; with volume, low pass, and phase correction control knobs and switches located on the back of the subwoofer unit. The built-in controls also allow you to set the power toggle to auto-on/off or DC control (via 12V trigger) in order to achieve speedy power on/off switching through the subwoofer rather than through the entire home cinema system.

No matter what it is you are installing, be it surround speaker or Dolby Atmos the addition of this subwoofer will bring home the ultimate experience when watching movies/TV shows, or listening to your favourite music.

The patented floor-firing Polk Power Port technology will transition air smoothly from the speaker and into your listening space, resulting in a deeper and more extensive bass impact whilst minimising turbulence, distortion and port noise. Power Port equipped subwoofers typically produce 3dB less noise than any other similarly configured, more conventional subwoofers.

The construction of the Polk HTS 10 Subwoofer has kept in mind that a great sounding speaker must come with the aesthetic appeal to match. This subwoofer does just that, with a strong and rigid, acoustically inert enclosure, the HTS 10 looks beautiful whilst it reduces the occurrence of any unwanted internal standing waves, thus removing audible coloration in sound. The non-resonant MDF chassis features extra bracing and minimum thick baffles, working to ensure a consistently lifelike sound.
