Contextual IR:

The Matrix range aims to provide the best possible video distribution system you can get. It helps to ensure that every TV receives the best video quality via HDBaseT link technology. It offers 4 inputs and 4 outputs allowing 16 variations of your video. Condensed down into just 4 buttons on the remote using Contextual IR which makes things so much simpler, you just select a number between 1-4 for whatever room you're in and instantly connect to your audio visual soure.

HDMI-CEC:

Alongside the IR you can use a standard TV remote to connect to one of your input devices through CEC technology. Pressing the source key will list the input devices and you can select one you want and the Neo 4 Professional 4x4 Video Matrix will route the video automatically regardless of if the source supports CEC.

Instant on with Sky+HD Box
Sky's innovative remote control feature that uses CEC support is a Sky button that turns the TV and Sky+HD box on simultaneously. This inspired Pulse-Eight to develop their own feature, an Instant on button that works by sensing when the Sky button is turned on in any room and correspondingly switching the video path to your Sky+ HD box. With the Neo linked up to your Sky box it can detect which one is not in use and route it to your TV.
