1 x Compact Audio Fidelity C6 LCR 6.5″ Angled In-ceiling Kevlar and Titanium Speaker

The C6 LCR is a 6.5” high quality ceiling speaker using the same components as our great sounding C6 but with an internal angled bass driver and tweeter. The “LCR” stands for Front, Centre, Right, meaning it is ideally suited to the front three channels of a home theatre system.

The Kevlar bass driver incorporates a large 18oz magnet with an AVS voice coil, enabling controlled performance at increased volume levels. This design coupled with a long throw surround results in an excellent in-ceiling bass response.

When using ceiling speakers for the front three channels it is essential that the sound source is angle towards the listening position. The C6 LCR’s bass driver is fixed at a 13 degree angle. This is ideal for installing slightly forward of a projection screen or above the TV position.

As well as high quality components for sound quality the speaker is designed to be as astatically pleasing as possible. The pure white magnetic grill is a trimless design with micro perforated holes and low profile.

Kevlar Cone Technology

As with all of the Fidelity series, the bass driver is made of Kevlar, a synthetic aramid fiber. The mechanical properties of its strength and the ability to dissipate energy make it the perfect speaker cone material. The results are a more constant dispersion pattern at all frequencies in its range, with a clearer more natural tone.

Titanium Dome Tweeter

The Fidelity series features Titanium dome tweeters. Titanium is an incredibly light material that is twice as strong as Aluminium and also highly resistant to corrosion. These qualities make it an ideal material for a fast and responsive tweeter, producing detailed clarity with a wide dispersion pattern.

Quality Crossover Components

Audio grade capacitors and coils are used in the crossover design to achieve the best possible transition between bass driver and tweeter. The components are linked to a front mounted +/-3db equalizer to compensate for the rooms HF response.

Magnetic Mirco Grill

The micro perforated grill is a frameless magnetic design, with only a 4mm profile. The closely knit fine holes and very thin edging result in an astatically pleasing design. It is finished in a long lasting pure white which can be painted to match the decor.
