Go bigger and better with your gaming, movies, TV and even home working, with the Optoma UHZ50.

Scale up your movies, TV, gaming and even work projects, with laser projection
Wherever you’re currently using a TV or monitor could be the ideal candidate for a laser projector. The first benefit is screen size. Up to 302 inches is possible with the Optoma UHZ50, but even at easily achievable 120 inch screen, the image is four times the size of a 60 inch TV. Laser projectors are also super-bright and clear, meaning you no longer have to worry about being in a darkened room. Factor in the smart functionality and it’s clearly time to consider laser projection.

Laser power for consistent colour, brightness and detail
At the heart of this projector is a DLP laser light source, by Texas instruments. This offers many advantages, the first of which is the picture with superb levels of contrast (2,500,000:1) and colour realism. The design should last far longer than a typical projector bulb and provide more consistent performance over its lifetime.

‘Lights on’ viewing
Clear, laser power helps give an excellent picture brightness figure of 3000 lumens. This is bright enough not to have to worry about being in a darkened room, making the projector ideal for using at all times of day.

HDR10 and HLG for enhanced detail
Compatible with HDR10 and HLG formats, the UHZ50 gets the best from your movies, games and TV. HDR enhances the brightest and darkest sections of scenes – letting you see detail in what was previously a solid block of colour. It also makes the rest of the colour spectrum appear more natural, giving an even greater sense of ‘being there’.

UHD 4K resolution for superb clarity
Making the most of HDR compatibility is UHD 4K resolution. Projecting at this resolution gives detail and realism that's impossible to achieve with conventional Full HD resolution. UHD 4K resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD projectors and it's a difference you can easily see on a large projection screen. Eye-popping detail and the sharpest definition make this the perfect projector for UHD 4K viewing.

Lens Shift for ease of installation
Being able to 'shift' the lens vertically (+ 10 degrees) makes installations much easier. Lens shift gives you the perfect image, even after installation, without having to sacrifice image quality. In addition, 1.3x zoom lets you size the image to your exact requirements.

Great for gaming
Game at FHD (1080p) resolution and enjoy 240Hz for super-smooth motion and an input lag of just 4ms. This gives you an explosive response and the advantage when it comes to all types of action gaming.

Voice control ready
If you own an Amazon Echo or Google Home device, then controlling this projector is just a voice command away. Ask Alexa or Google to turn the projector on/off, adjust the volume, change the input and more.

Smart apps
Using the built-in App store Marketplace, you can access a wide range of entertainment apps, giving you effortless control from your smartphone or tablet. Netflix, YouTube and Spotify are just three of the most popular apps that are ready to go. Note – Google Play services not supported.

Connect it all
Now featuring three HDMI inputs, there’s ample connectivity for your Blu-ray player, games console and TV set-top box. One of the HDMI sockets features eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) – making it ideal for connecting seamlessly to a soundbar. Three USBs (one is service and power only) give ample media connection points. Multi-room connectivity is enhanced by RJ-45 and RS232 interfaces, plus there’s a 12v output for syncing with an electric screen. Audio can be outputted via digital optical or analogue 3.5mm sockets.

Power your smart TV device by USB
Another great feature is the handy USB power output. This provides a 5V/1.5A power output that’s ideal for powering many types of Smart TV sticks, such as those from Roku and Google.

Make the move up to laser projection, with the Optoma UHZ50.

Please note, this projector features third party Apps. These Apps may be modified or withdrawn at any time. There may also be a delay in launching some of the featured Apps. Catch-up TV Apps may vary by region.
